  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Parmesan, milk, parsley, and seasonings. Mix gently until just combined (donโ€™t overmix).


2. Shape the meatballs

Roll the mixture into small balls (about golf-ball size) and place them on a plate.


3. Cook the meatballs

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides (about 8โ€“10 minutes).


4. Simmer in sauce (optional but recommended)

Add tomato sauce to the pan, cover, and let the meatballs simmer for 10โ€“15 minutes until fully cooked and tender.


5. Serve

Serve hot with spaghetti, in a sandwich, or as an appetizer.
