Weste Erickson catches public eyes after his story appeared in ‘Terror in the Woods’ which features real stories of people who embarked on a wilderness adventure only to be scared out of the woods by unexplained phenomena. He was an IT specialist working at the Tahoma Middle School. As an IT specialist at Tahoma Middle School, he was responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s computer systems and networks. His role includes troubleshooting technical issues and making sure that all technology facilities were functioning properly for both students and staff.

In one episode of Terror In The Woods, the show brought out the mysterious death of Weste Erickson. The show revolves on documenting real-life dealings with paranormal phenomena and explores the eerie experiences that people have had in wooded areas. He died just the age of 34 years old, on Jan 23, 2017.

His funeral ceremony was held in Maple Valley, on January 28, 2021. He died under mysterious causes whose details are still not known till date. The lack of concrete evidence surrounding the incident has fueled countless theories and speculations.


Some claim that supernatural entities were involved, while others suggest foul play by a hidden hand. As the passage of time, the true cause of his demise remains an enigma leaving room for endless speculation and haunting questions.

Where Was Weste Erickson Born?

Weste Erickson was born in Sekiu, Washington and later shifted to Arizona and back to Port Angeles. He was born to mother Karen and father named, Ron Erickson. They divorced when he was young. His mother later tied knot with, Scott Nangle who is Weste’s step-father. He has two brother Lincoln and Thomas and sister named, Emma. He used to work with Public School Employees Union.
