Her friend, 18 years old, stumbles across the murder scene and is promptly shot by the killer. The case has never been solved but paranormal activity in the building today is allegedly blamed on that fateful event. Also, in the mansion haunting incidents, including sightings of a young woman heard regularly. Often, phantom footsteps are also heard.

In 1929, this place’s spooky history dates back to Christmas Day. It is believed in this place, a tobacco farmer Charlie Lawson murdered his wife and six of his seven children before killing himself. Also, Charlie had sex with his eldest daughter Marie while he was under the influence of something evil. This led to her getting pregnant. In order to try and fix things, Charlie took the drastic step of marrying her.
