Soon, Stranger Things season 4 will be released. Variety was recently informed by Shawn Levy, executive producer. Steve Weintraub from Collider questioned Levy about season 4, during the Free Guy press tour. Levy confirmed that Stranger Things season 4 will be released soon.
Levy said, “All I can say about [the release date] is by the time this airs, we’ll at least have given the world a ballpark. And I’m not allowed to say more. By the time Free Guy comes out, August 13th, part of that answer will be known.”
Stranger Things season 4 release date
We’ll likely be given the release date in August, it seems. 13th of February 2021 This is huge news! Fans have been waiting for this moment for years! We still hope that the new season will be available in 2021.
We’ll probably see the season released in December or November if it is coming in 2021.
Netflix has a full schedule for this time so it is more likely that Stranger Things season 4 will be coming in 2022. This is what Finn Wolfhard said to a fan last spring. Netflix hasn’t confirmed this, but it seems most likely given the current state of production and the length of post-production on Stranger Things.

Right now, we expect Stranger Things season 4 to be released on Valentine’s Day 2022. We all know Netflix loves to release these seasons on holidays. Valentine’s Day will be the first holiday in 2022.
Stranger Things season 4 is expected to wrap in August. Valentine’s Day will be celebrated six months after production has ended. We generally have to wait six months between the end of production and the release of the new seasons.
