Johannes Nussbaum In ‘The Empress’
Elisabeth “Sisi” is a sixteen-year-old Bavarian princess who falls in love with her sister’s fiancé, Emperor Franz Joseph. They marry later that year. She moves to Vienna and must deal with the intricacies of royal court intrigue as well as her husband’s scheming relatives.
