The Met Gala is a world-famous fashion event that takes place every year in New York City. People have been wondering about Jared Leto‘s sexuality after seeing his portrayal of gay characters onscreen. He played Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club, and in 2020 he announced that he’ll be playing Andy Warhol in a forthcoming biopic. He apparently put rumors to rest when he said, “I’m not gay, but that rumour can’t be killed.”
According to The Little Facts, Jared Leto has denied being gay multiple times in many interviews. And yet, despite this fact, the rumour persists.

Leto has been linked to 11 prominent ladies, including Cameron Diaz, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, and Lupita Nyong’o, according to Pop Sugar.
In August 2016, The Guardian interviewed Leto about his comments regarding the film industry’s conservatism. “We’re in an interesting time right now”, he said, “where people are exploring all kinds of different ideas of identity, not just masculinity or femininity.”
“For myself, I have never had a specific idea of masculinity. I think it’s OK just to be yourself and whatever that entails. You know, I’ve certainly never felt required to present myself in a certain way.”
