It all began when Doja went to the Asunciónico music festival in Paraguay. While audiences were eager to meet the artists, others stated online that they were unable to do so.

Fans on social media were quick to react, with some of them blaming the artist for not spending enough time interacting and greeting them. It appeared that they were dissatisfied, as other artists such as MGK took time off to meet their followers.

Given that other celebrities had encountered individuals, Doja’s fans were furious to see that the musician made no attempts. Her social media was flooded with condemnatory remarks in a matter of seconds.

In the now-deleted message, Doja claimed that when she departed the hotel, there was no fan waiting for her.

“There was a storm in Paraguay; the concert was called off. When I left the next morning, there wasn’t one person outside the hotel waiting for me. Let that thought sink in. I apologize for all of my time spent getting ready on that day for the show; I’ve been busting my ass every day to put on a good performance for you but God bless me anyway.”

Is The Singer Serious About Leaving Music Forever?

It’s evident from Doja’s recent statements that the singer is serious about quitting or at least taking a break.

She also tweeted: “for those who are seeing me at the after-hours tour, I’m not bailing. But me not bailing doesn’t mean my ass isn’t gonna disappear right after. I still got sit I gotta do. and a lot of y’all think cuz I post a f*kin picture it means I’m not out. Pic doesn’t = music GOOFY.”
