Noella Bergener received devastating news on the latest episode of RHOC Season 16. As she watched, a woman appeared to be in tears over the news that her father, Chris Nance, had died. On Instagram in October 2021, after the Bravo show was filmed, Bergener had posted about it. “It is with a heavy heart that I write this post,” she stated. “Today, my father died unexpectedly and too soon.”

Noella Bergener is now opening up about her father’s death and what happened leading up to it. She shared that Nance had been dealing with some health issues prior to his passing. “He had been in and out of the hospital for the past few months,” she said. “We thought he was on the mend and doing better.”
However, Nance’s health took a turn for the worse and he was rushed to the hospital again. “He was in ICU on a ventilator and we were told that he wasn’t going to make it,” Bergener said. “I flew home to be with him and my family.”

Bergener said that she is grateful that she was able to spend time with her father before he passed away. “I am so thankful that I got to say goodbye,” she said. “It’s been really tough these past few weeks dealing with his death but I know he is in a better place now.”
The RHOC star also shared a touching tribute to her father on Instagram. “He was an amazing man and I will miss him dearly,” she wrote. “Rest in peace, Dad. I love you.”
