Xu Kai is a Chinese actor and model. Xu won the Guangzhou print modeling contests in 2013. In 2016, he signed with Huanyu Film, an entertainment firm owned by Yu Zheng, and began his professional career. He was chosen for his first television drama Zhaoge, in which he plays Yang Jian.
In 2018, Xu played the romantic drama Untouchable Lovers and the palace drama Story of Yanxi Palace. He achieved wide recognition as Fucha Fuheng in Story of Yanxi Palace, which was a major box-office success in China and throughout Asia.
In 2019, Xu made his cinematic debut in the romance drama “Autumn Fairy Tale.” The same year, he played his first main role in Xianxia series, “The Legends,” and was named Best Actor at the Hengdian Film and TV Festival of China for it.
