Thierry Bordelais is the husband of Karla Homolka, who is a Canadian serial killer who acted as an accomplice to her husband, Paul Bernardo, taking active part in the rapes and murders of at least three minors in Ontario – including her own sister, Tammy Homolka – between 1990 and 1992. She was arrested in 1992 and sentenced to life in prison. During her trial, she confessed to the murders and stated that she had killed the victims in order to satisfy her own “hunger for death”. While in prison, Homolka became close with Bordelais and his family. After her release in 2005, the two married, and in 2007 their son was born.
