She died on her 33rd birthday in 2020.

Who Are Stacey Milbern Parents?

Milbern was born at the U.S. Army Hospital in Seoul on May 19, 1987. Her father and mother name was, Joel and Jean Milbern, both of whom are white. Stacey’s father, Joel, is a white man, while her mother, Jean, is a Korean woman. When Joel was stationed in Korea and assigned to a camp, he met Jean when she arrived at the camp with the United States Army.

Stacey grew up in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she was born into a military family. Milbern began serving in disability rights leadership roles at 16 years old. Milbern helped to establish the disability justice movement through conversations with other disabled queer women of color activists, in 2005.
