In 2023, Theis was directing a film called ‘Je te jure’ which is a drama starring Marina Foïs and Louise Bourgoin about an alcoholic summoned for jury duty. It marks Theis’s third film as director.
He was accused of sexually assaulting a crew member. Although he was able to keep directing, it was decided that he had to do it from a different room away from everyone else. The alleged incident took place in July 2023 after a party held at an apartment.
