On Thursday, February 16, 2023, her vehicle was involved in a fatal crash with a tractor-trailer on U.S. 50 Highway. The incident is being investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to determine the cause of the crash.

Rachel Stone accident took place at the U.S. 50 Highway and 7 Highway. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the highway patrol after the crash.
Rachel Stone’s vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer that lost control on icy roads. Stone died on the site of the accident, although the driver of the tractor-trailer survived. Tragically, Stone was not as lucky as the tractor-trailer driver and the consequences of the crash were fatal for her.

Since 1997, Rachel Stone was a teacher by profession. For 25 years, she taught at Lee’s Summit High School and was a mother of two children. She was married with Scott Stone. Currently, her husband Scott Stone works as a teacher at Bernard Campbell Middle School.
