Nigel Moores was the son of pools magnate Ceci and best known as the husband of Mystic Meg who was a astrologer. She left behind a £1.3 million fortune in her will with cash going to care for horses and being shared between family and friends. After reading in her horoscope at seven that she would marry a wealthy guy, she fell in love with millionaire football pools heir Nigel Moores and felt he was her destiny.
Meg was left devastated when Nigel, 39, died in a vehicle crash in southern France in 1977. She died in Notting Hill with her seven cats, never remarrying. Her mother Millicent Howard said Meg thought Nigel was her only. Nigel, the Littlewoods pools dynasty heir, died worth £9m, or £48.4m today.

After she passed away, Meg had a short relationship with David Jones, the editor of explicit magazines Men Only and Club International. They met when Meg submitted a short story to the magazine while working for Woman’s Realm. In 1996, David controversially revealed his affair with Meg to a newspaper.

Margaret Anne Lake was born on 27 July 1942 in Accrington, Lancashire, England. She passed away on 9 March 2023 at the age of 80 in Paddington, London, England. She died from influenza at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.
She had received her education from the University of Leeds and had a diverse career as a newspaper and television astrologer as well as being a racehorse owner and breeder. She launched a website featuring horoscopes, personalised readings and a telephone hotline hosted by psychics, in 2015.
