Demi Moore was previously married to Ashton Kutcher from 2005 until 2013. She and Bruce Willis were wed for 14 years, from 1987 to 1997, when they had Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, and Tallulah, 28 children. Her second marriage was to musician Freddy Moore (now known as Demi Moore-Moore) between 1980 and 1985; she took his surname as her stage name after their divorce.


In 2020, the year she debuted as a speaker on SiriusxM’s The Jess Cagle Program, Moore reflected on her three marriages during an appearance on the show. “It’s a process of learning to love yourself and accepting who you are just as you are,” Moore said in 2020, when she was interviewed for SirsuXm’s The Jess Cagle Show.

“For me, I changed myself so many times over and over to fit what I thought somebody else wanted,” she added. “We’re kind of conditioned to work toward being desired, but we’re not supposed to have desires of our own.”

In March, Willis’s family revealed that he had been diagnosed with aphasia, and the Ghost star told him she was “thankful for our blended family” as he celebrated his 67th birthday.

Demi Moore Previous Relationship Explored

Demi Moore married Freddy Moore, 12 years her senior, on February 8, 1981. Demi had been using the name Demetria as a stage name before she married Freddy. The pair divorced in 1983 after which Demi dated Timothy Hutton.

On September 8, 1984, she submitted for divorce from Moore; the divorce was finalized on August 7, 1985. Moore was then engaged to actor Emilio Estevez, with whom she starred in St. Elmo’s Fire and Wisdom, a crime drama he also wrote and directed. The pair intended to marry in December 1986 but called off the wedding planning.

In 1987, Moore married her second spouse, actor Bruce Willis. She has three children with him: Rumer Glenn Willis (born August 16, 1988), Scout LaRue Willis (born July 20, 1991), and Tallulah Belle Willis (born February 3, 1994). On June 24, 1998, they announced their separation and filed for divorce on October 18, 2000. Moore was in a three-year relationship with martial arts instructor Oliver Whitcomb from 1999 to 2002.


In 2003, Moore began dating actor Ashton Kutcher, who was 15 years her junior. Soon after they started dating, Moore became pregnant at the age of 42 and had a miscarriage six months into the pregnancy. On September 24, 2005, they married.

The wedding was attended by over 150 of the couple’s closest friends and relatives, such as Willis. After months of media speculation about the state of the marriage, Moore declared her decision to divorce Kutcher in November 2011.

On December 21, 2012, Kutcher filed for divorce from Moore in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. In March 2013, Moore responded to the petition, asking for spousal support and legal costs from Kutcher. On November 26th of that year, their marriage was dissolved.
