Aerys Targaryen the Second, also called The Mad King, is the last Targaryen king to rule the Seven Kingdoms. While his reign began well, he gradually descended into madness. Who Is Daenerys Targaryen?
Daenerys Targaryen is the daughter of King Aerys II Targaryen and his sister-wife Queen Rhaella, and is one of the last survivors of House Targaryen. Dany is the viewpoint character in 31 chapters of A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, and A Dance with Dragons. This makes her the series’ fourth most prominent narrative voice after Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, and Arya Stark.
Daenerys is said to be exceptionally beautiful, with long, pale silver-gold hair and purple eyes. She is tall compared to some of her female ancestors, but she is slender and pale. There are numerous stories about Daenerys’s beauty, including the fact that throughout the novels she encounters an infinite number of suitors who want to marry her in order to gain control of her three dragons.
She is fluent in Westerosi Common Tongue, Dothraki, High Valyrian, and bastard Valyrian, which she converses with a Tyroshi accent. She becomes fluent in the slave towns of Essos’ Dothraki language and Ghiscari throughout the first three novels.

Daenerys Targaryen In GOT
In A Game of Thrones (1996), Daenerys is sold by her brother Viserys and Illyrio Mopatis to Khal Drogo, a Dothraki warlord, in order to provide an army for him. Jorah Mormont, an exiled Westerosi knight, befriends her. Illyrio Mopatis presents Daenerys with three petrified dragon eggs at her wedding.
Despite Daenerys’s dislike of Drogo, they eventually form a loving relationship. She comes to adore him and becomes accustomed to Dothraki customs, finding her inner strength for the first time, and she resists Viserys’s attempts to intimidate her into forcing Drogo.
Viserys makes a threat against her, so Drogo kills him my pouring molten gold over his head. With Viserys now dead, Daenerys sees that she is the heir to the Targaryen dynasty and is responsible for reclaiming the throne for her family.
