This year’s Met Gala will be held to commemorate the second volume of “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” which is being presented by the Costume Institute following “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” The event was originally scheduled for April 2020, but has been postponed.
The exhibition will go on display in the American Wing’s period rooms starting May 5, 2022, with both this and the prior show, which opened late last year, on view until September 5, 2022. Andrew Bolton, the MOMA’s head curator of The Costume Institute, focuses attention on “inclusivity in fashion” in The Inclusive Anthology of American Fashion.

According to celebrity-gossip Instagram, DeuxMoi, Olivia Rodrigo, Kristen Stewart, Lizzo, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly are all set to appear. According on the popular Instagram account Diet Sabya, Deepika Padukone is expected to attend the gala.
