31-year-old Patrick traveled from his home in Austin, Texas, to reconnect with extended family in Brazil. During that trip, he searched for a tutor for learning Portuguese on a dating app. That’s when 25-year-old Thaís swiped right on Patrick.
The two began messaging each other and soon set up a time to meet in person. They hit it off and have been dating ever since. Patrick says that the best part of his relationship with Thaís is that she makes him laugh. Patrick and Thaís: ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Back for Season 9.

Thaís agrees, adding that Patrick is a wonderful listener and is always there for her when she needs him. The couple is excited to continue their adventure together and explore all that Brazil has to offer.
Patrick plans to continue learning Portuguese so he can better communicate with Thaís’ family and friends.
And Thaís is looking forward to helping Patrick improve his language skills. In the meantime, they say they’ll keep enjoying their time together and learning new things about each other.
