Lauren London is an American actress and model from Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her roles in ATL, This Christmas and I Love You, Beth Cooper. London began modeling at the age of 14 and was featured in music videos by The Neptunes, Pharrell Williams and Nelly. She made her acting debut in 2006 with a lead role opposite T.I. in the film ATL. In addition, she appeared in music videos for Snoop Dogg and Ludacris. She appeared in Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family, in 2011. She played the lead character, “Vanessa King”, in the BET show Games People Play, in 2019.

London was born to an African-American mother and an Ashkenazi Jewish father in Los Angeles. Growing up in a mixed-race family, London experienced the beauty of different cultures and their unique traditions, while also dealing with the struggles of being a person of color in a predominantly white society.
She attended Palisades Charter High School during her first year and then was home-schooled in her second year. She believed it was important to explore both the positive and negative aspects of her racial identity, so she sought out a unique educational opportunity to do so.
