Laurelle Mellet, a homemaker and former South African fashion model. She is best known as the mother of Troye Sivan an Australian singer-songwriter and actor. Following his success as a vocalist on YouTube and in Australian talent shows, Sivan signed with EMI Australia in 2013. His third EP, TRXYE (2014), was released and reached the fifth spot on the US Billboard 200.

Laurelle Mellet’s son, Troye Sivan was born on 5 June 1995 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Sivan’s singing debut came at the Channel Seven Perth Telethon in 2006, 2007, and 2008. He sang a duet with Australian Idol champion Guy Sebastian during his 2006 performance. Sivan advanced to the StarSearch 2007 finals.

Sivan released the single “My My My!”, in 2018. He released “Take Yourself Home”, his first single from his fifth EP In a Dream, in 2020. He released a collaboration with PNAU titled “You Know What I Need”, in December 2022.

In July 2023, he announced his third studio album, Something to Give Each Other. The singer also received two Grammy nominations for “Rush”: Best Music Video and Best Pop Dance Recording, on 10 November 2023. Many of Sivan’s music videos feature characters in gay relationships.
