In a since deleted Instagram comment, Anastasia Samuels wrote, “On my IG I have been talking about today’s women and if they are the ‘party of one.’ Why? Because it is so insincere. These days we all know what they are implying – people that think themselves above you because they’re more modern or whatever.”
That was the most recent social media activity of Samuels, who had not updated his Facebook since at least Tuesday. His last tweet was made in April, although it was linked to his Instagram account. On Wednesday, the final video he uploaded to his YouTube channel dealt with “Modern Women,” which was published at the same time as the Instagram post.

Through his approach to black women, Samuels has built a following. According to the firm’s website, his image consultation business serves “men who want to enhance their appearance.” He became notorious recently for labeling women over 35 who aren’t married as “leftover” ladies.
“If you made it to 35 and you’re not married, you’re a leftover woman,” Samuels said on her podcast last month. “You’re what’s left over. Men know there’s probably something wrong with you. Whether you want to hear it or not, I’m going there with you. I’m telling you the truth you don’t want to hear. Men know there’s probably something wrong with you.
And here’s the thing: when you were 22 to 25 years old and you didn’t want to settle, you were trying to get the CEO, the pilot, the investment banker, what you were trying to get flew out the door…” Samuels then asked one woman, “What do you think about sharing a man?” to which she replied, “I’m fine with that, because, if they’re going to mess with other women, I’m going to do what I want to do, too.” Samuels quickly shot back, “No, no, that’s not how it works: you share your man and sit down.”
