Karim Al Fayed is the half-brother of Dodi Fayed was an Egyptian film producer and the son of billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed. Karim’s father was also the former owner of Fulham Football Club and the Hôtel Ritz Paris and his mother, Heini Wathén was a Finnish socialite and former model. Karim’s uncles, Ali and Salah have been his business colleagues.

Karim Al-Fayed died on August 30, 2023, in London, at the age of 94. On September 1, his death was announced as the result of old age. He was buried that day at Barrow Green Court alongside his son Dodi, following a burial service at London Central Mosque during Friday prayers.
