Daphne Oz is married to John Jovanovic, a former investment banker. The couple have three children together: daughters Philomena Bijou Jovanovic and Dalia Rose Jovanovic, and son Jovan Jovanovic. Oz has said that her husband is her best friend, and the two enjoy cooking and working out together.
Jovanovic is now a stay-at-home dad and managing partner of Lexaria Corp, a food technology company. The couple met while they were both students at Princeton University. They started dating after graduation, and got married in 2010.
Oz has said that she knew she wanted to marry Jovanovic after just a few weeks of dating him. In an interview with Pregnancy & Newborn magazine, Oz said that her husband is “incredibly supportive” and that he was the one who encouraged her to pursue her dreams.
“He’s always been my biggest cheerleader,” she said. “When I told him I wanted to write a book, he said, ‘I think that’s amazing. When do we start?’ He helped me quit my day job.”
Jovanovic is also involved with his wife’s show, The Chew. He has appeared on the show several times, most notably in a 2015 episode where he and Oz made Thanksgiving dinner together.
