Diane Jergens was an American film and television actress who was the daughter of Norman C. Irgens, an alderman in Minneapolis, and his wife. She debuted in Ginger (1946). She appeared in 1950s films like The FBI Story with James Stewart and Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn’s Desk Set.
Between 1958 and 1960, Jergens was married to actor Peter Brown who portrayed Deputy Johnny McKay opposite John Russell as Marshal Dan Troop in the 1958 to 1962 ABC-Warner Brothers western television series Lawman and Texas Ranger Chad Cooper on NBC’s Laredo from 1965 to 1967.
