Avatar Aang is the title character and protagonist is the last surviving Airbender, a monk of the Air Nomads’ Southern Air Temple, and the youngest ever airbending master. He has the ability to control water, earth, fire, and air, and his main purpose is to maintain balance and harmony among the Four Nations.
