Frederick Roy Schiller is best recognized as the first husband of Anne Whitfield who was married twice in her life. Couple tied knot in 1958 and they had one child before getting divorced in 1969. Then she married John F. Phillips in 1976 and they had two kids together, a daughter and a son.

Anne Whitfield’s first name is sometimes seen spelled Ann and was the daughter of Richard N. Whitfield Jr. and Frances Turner Whitfield. She took her last breathe on February 15, 2024 and was not married at the time of her death.

After moving to California, she attended Rosewood Avenue Public School. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles, timing her education around her radio career by 17. She died abruptly while walking in her Washington neighborhood. She was 85. Her family wrote,

“Through the kindness of neighbors who provided expert medical support, family had the gift to say goodbye and express love and gratitude, a gift we will always cherish.”

“Just this past December during the holidays, Annie was able to watch White Christmas with her family on the movie’s 70th anniversary. Although Annie was a talented actor, Los Angeles didn’t have enough trees for her and she left Hollywood for her new life ‘up north’ in the 1970’s. During this transition, Annie became devoted to causes that promote Peace and preserve nature,” her family shared. “After ‘retiring’, Annie worked tirelessly as an activist and community organizer, working right up until the day she passed away.”

Annie had 7 grandchildren and 3 children. Her family loved her and were her top priority. Anne leaves daughters Julie and Allison, son Evan, and adoring grandchildren.
