She is best recognized as the mother of Justin Edwards who is an American who plays collegiate basketball for the Southeastern Conference’s Kentucky Wildcats (SEC). Among the best players in the upcoming 2023 class, Justin Edwards was widely considered a five-star prospect by the major recruiting agencies. In January 2023, he was named by ESPN the best recruit in the country.

After weighing offers from other schools like Tennessee, Auburn, Villanova, Kansas and Maryland, Edwards decided to play collegiate basketball for Kentucky on July 25, 2022. The NBA G League was another professional league he thought about trying out for.
