The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the man was arrested and charged with attempted assault in the second degree, a felony, in Perinton Town Court. Officials identified the suspect as David G. Jakubonis of Fairport, who is 43 years old. He was “released on his own recognizance,” according to authorities.

Zeldin was born in East Meadow, New York, the son of Merrill Schwartz and David Zeldin. He was raised in Suffolk County, New York, and graduated from William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, New York, in 1998. He also attended Hebrew school.
