Dennis Cleveland Stewart made his acting debut with an uncredited appearance as a fisherman in the movie Pete’s Dragon, in 1977. He was awarded a pivotal role in 1978. He was selected to play the role of “Leo “Craterface” Balmudo” in the Grease musical comedy.

He performed as a dancer in the movie Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, in 1978. He made a small appearance in the TV movie Elvis. It was first aired on ABC, in 1979. He performed as a dance instructor in an episode of the American sitcom Angie, titled Theresa’s Gigolo, in 1980. He was chosen for the movie Grease 2, in 1982.

He played ‘Ronnie Sample’ in the TV movie Police Story: Cop Killer, in 1988 and appeared in an episode of the TV series Jesse Hawkes, in 1989. He performed in two episodes of the TV series Parker Lewis Can’t Lose’ It was aired on ‘Fox’, in 1991.
