He launched Construction Control Systems with Randy Miller to build WorkTop, in 2003. He donated the Ghost Rider to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, in 2007.

Levandowski studied mechanical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 2002 and a master’s degree in 2004. After graduating, Levandowski worked at several Silicon Valley companies, including 3Com and Google. He was part of the team that developed Google’s self-driving car project, which later became Waymo.
In 2016, Levandowski left Google and founded his own self-driving truck startup, called Otto. The company was quickly acquired by Uber for $680 million. Levandowski was later sued by Waymo, which accused him of stealing trade secrets related to self-driving car technology. The case was eventually settled for $245 million and Levandowski was sentenced to 18 months in prison for trade secret theft. His work in self-driving cars, Levandowski has also been involved in developing autonomous drones and religious technology. He created a “Way of the Future” church, which aims to develop an AI-based godhead.
