Louis Gaskin, an American convicted murderer and suspected serial killer who was sentenced to death in 1990 for the fatal shooting of Robert Sturmfels, 56, and Georgette Sturmfels, 55, on December 20,1989. He was also convicted of armed robbery, burglary and an attempted murder committed the same night. He spent the last 33 years of his life on death row. During his lifetime, he was convicted of murder and suspected of being a serial killer. On Wednesday, April 12, he was executed in Florida. He was born on March 11, 1967.
Louis Gaskin Death Cause
Governor Ron DeSantis signed Gaskin’s death warrant for April 12, 2023, on March 13, 2023. He is popularly known as the Ninja Killer because he dressed in a full black ninja outfit to avoid identification.
He was executed at 6pm Eastern Time by lethal injection at the Florida State Prison in Starke, 40 miles south east of Jacksonville, on 12 April 2023. None of the relatives of the victims were present. During the time of his death he said, ‘The devil had more of a hold than God did. I knew that I was wrong. I wasn’t insane.’
He also added, “Justice is not about the crime. It’s not about the criminal. It’s about the law. Look at my case.”
His final meal included BBQ pork ribs, pork and turkey neck, buffalo wings, shrimp fried rice, french fries and water. Hid death will mark the state’s 100th execution since the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1976.

Louis Gaskin Wife
In 1990, Louis Gaskin was not married he was dating someone whose name is not known. Gaskin then stole items, some of which he gave to his girlfriend as Christmas presents.
Louis Gaskin Sister
Louis Gaskin’s sister name is not name though, she visited him earlier in the day. His relatives were not allowed to attend the execution. Gaskin did not have a spiritual advisor visit him.
Victims or relatives of victims did not attend the execution, Smith said. She described Gaskin as calm and in good spirits.
On December 30, Gaskin was arrested. At first, he denied any involvement in the murders. A few days later, he confessed to the murders and said the killings were completely random. He confessed to having kill urges in a taped statement. In 1986, he also confessed to killing a coworker.
