Fans of the pair noticed that Julien’s accomplice in crime had vanished from his videos last year. Since Jenna announced she would be leaving YouTube, potentially for good, she has been out of sight on the internet.
She has even vanished from Julien’s films, where she used to make brief appearances or sample some of his new culinary dishes.
Some of their supporters began to wonder if the pair had actually split up in an attempt to explain her continued absence.
Fortunately, it appears that Jenna and Julien haven’t broken up. While Jenna no longer has a public presence on the internet, her absence does not appear to have translated into their relationship, and they seem to be very much engaged.

Jenna Left Her Joint Channels With Julien
Fans were shocked, to say the least, when Jenna announced her leave of absence on Twitter and YouTube. Some had hoped that only Jenna’s YouTube channel would be affected by her vacation, but it appears as if she’ll be leaving the combined platforms she co-owns with Julien as well.
The pair launched a podcast and Twitch channel under the name JennaJulien. They produced one podcast a week for each outlet, along with at least one stream per week, though usually either Jenna or Julien streamed more than once a week.
According to her previous Twitch broadcast, just over a month after Jenna made her decision to leave, their joint channels would be rebranded to solely represent Julien as a member of the stream, removing Jenna’s name from the channels.

“One of the most significant of those changes is that the channel will switch to just my name,” he said of some recent rebranding decisions. “I’ll show you guys the changes as they come, but I wanted you guys to know.”
Co-host and executive producer Matt Galloway said the renaming was to prevent any “unwarranted” expectations about the channel, adding that it wasn’t a complete rebranding or anything drastic.
“In an attempt to do our best in not misleading anyone who comes to the stream, and to show respect to everyone involved with the stream who is now involved with the stream, I feel like it’s only fair to people who are watching, they know what they are getting,” he said. “I don’t want to false advertise, I don’t want to hold out false hope or anything like that.”
Despite the fact that she was now living in the woods, Jenna assured fans that this didn’t imply the content of the streams would change.
But he wanted to inform audiences about the upcoming brand changes. Despite Jenna’s recent off-the-grid lifestyle, it appears that her and Julien’s relationship is stronger than ever before.

On April 15, Julien revealed that he had proposed to Jenna during a live Twitch broadcast, where he also showed off the engagement rings. “I asked Jenna to marry me recently and she said yes,” says Julien.
Jenna and Julien’s names began trending on Twitter shortly after his announcement. “Jenna Marbles is getting married,” one person tweeted, adding, “I’ve been waiting for her happy ending since I was 13, memorizing her films.”
Another said, “Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita are engaged? No seriously I’m actually crying. I love them so much and I’m so incredibly happy for them! No one will ever be able to change my mind about them being soulmates. My heart is so full.”
