How to Make Pizza Sliders

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Using a serrated knife, slice the slider rolls horizontally while keeping all the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread half of the pizza sauce evenly across the bottom layer of buns.
  4. Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add the mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, and red onions in an even layer.
  6. Spoon the remaining pizza sauce over the vegetables and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place the top half of the slider buns over the filling.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
  10. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  12. Allow the sliders to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage and Reheating

Store leftover pizza sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until warmed through. Avoid microwaving for too long, as the buns can become soft and chewy.
