Suzy Fittipaldi is best known as the wife of Wilson Fittipaldi who died on 23 February 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil. He suffered a cardiac arrest on 25 December 2023, his 80th birthday. Wilson was a Brazilian racing driver and Formula One team owner.
She is known for her philanthropic efforts particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. She has been an active member of several charitable organizations and has spearheaded numerous fundraising campaigns.

Suzy Fittipaldi was married with Wilson Fittipaldi till his death. He was the father of former CART, Formula One and NASCAR driver Christian Fittipaldi, 53, who is named after Christian Heins, a Brazilian racing driver who was killed in a wreck during the 1963 24 Hours of Le Mans. Couple has a daughter, Roberta.

An official statement was issued by Fabiana Ecclestone who is the Vice-President of Motorsport for South America at the FIA, in response to the passing of Fittipaldi. It said,
“It is with deep sorrow that we receive the news of the passing of Wilson Fittipaldi Jr. His departure leaves an irreparable void in the automobile scene and in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication and efforts were fundamental in consolidating the country as an important protagonist on the international racing scene.
In this moment of mourning, we express our most sincere condolences to the family, friends and admirers of Wilson Fittipaldi Jr. May they find comfort in the memories of his brilliant career and in the legacy he left for the sport he loved so much. May he rest in peace.”
