She began her acting career in 2010, appearing in the film “Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale”. She then went on to have recurring roles in several movies, Werewolf: The Beast Among Us, Photo Finish, Commencement, A Kind of Love. She is currently cast in the medical drama series “Chicago Med,” which became her breakthrough role. She has also done theater work, appearing in productions such as “The Rose Tattoo” and “Once in a Lifetime.”
In addition to her acting career, DiPillo is also known for her advocacy work. She is a supporter of several charitable organizations, including the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the Women’s Center for Creative Work, and the Trevor Project.

Rachel DiPillo Plays Dr. Sarah Reese In ‘Chicago Med’
DiPillo played Sarah Reese in Chicago Med, (seasons 1–3; guest season 4), originally a fourth-year medical student, who does not feel inclined to emergency medicine, and would rather become a pathologist. After she graduates from medical school, she changes her mind about being a pathologist and becomes a resident in psychiatry.
In the fourth-season premiere “Be My Better Half”, she transfers from Chicago Med to Baylor after Dr. Daniel Charles finds out her father is a suspected serial killer and they have a falling out.
