Moore Park Rapist’s name has been not disclosed publicly but he is known for his heinous crime and also nicknamed as ‘Night Stalker’. He is believed to have committed multiple sexual assaults in the Moore Park area striking fear into the hearts of residents.
The police have been working tirelessly to track down the perpetrator and bring him to justice. He allegedly raped at least ten women in Sydney in the 1990s, terrifying the city and police have detained him at the airport.

In the early 90s, a dangerous man known as the ‘Night Stalker’ terrorized the Eastern Suburbs of the city. He would target women near railway stations, pretending to offer modeling or cleaning jobs before assaulting them with a knife in secluded areas. Most of his victims were Asian women sparking fear and concern in the community.
NSW Police stated the guy was accused with 33 offenses against eight of the 10 victims. 16 counts of severe sexual assault are charged.
A large public appeal and a dedicated police task squad failed to catch the perpetrator. On Friday, NSW Police nabbed a 60-year-old ‘Night Stalker’ suspect at Sydney International Airport, a huge breakthrough. He have been in his early thirties at the time of the offenses.

Moore Park Rapist Crimes
In May 1993, a newspaper article detailed how the offender had been accused of sexually assaulting nine women at knifepoint. As per Sydney Morning Herald,
“In each of the nine attacks, the man approached women around railway stations – at night and in the early hours of the morning – and offered them cleaning or modelling work. He then lured them to a nearby secluded area – six of the attacks occurred at Moore Park – and sexually assaulted them at knifepoint. Six of the women were Asian.”
The police posted a drawing of the rapist with details. They described him as 173–180 centimeters tall, clean-shaven, tan, short dark brown hair, and medium to athletic.

Moore Park Rapist was taken to Mascot Police Station, in February 2024. He faced 33 charges against eight of ten alleged victims. He was denied bail to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on 1 March 2024.
