Lauren Shulkind is an American famed personality who is best known as the second wife of Tony Dow, who is an American actor, film producer, director, and sculptor. He is best recognized for his role as Ward Cleaver’s son Wally in the primetime television series Leave It to Beaver (1957–1963). Dow played Wally Cleaver, June’s older son and Ward’s younger brother, in Leave It to Beaver (1983–1989). Who Is Lauren Shulkind?
Dow was born in Hollywood, California. In his youth, Dow trained as a swimmer and was a Junior Olympics diving champion. Dow married Carol Marlow in June 1969, and the pair divorced in 1980. They had one child, a girl, who was born in 1973. Dow remarried twice: to Lauren Shulkind in June 1980 and then to Lauren Koslenko on March 4, 2000.

TMZ reported on July 26 that the actor had died as a result of a message on his official Facebook page claiming so. The post reads as: “Tony was a beautiful soul– kind, compassionate, funny and humble. It was truly a joy to just be around him. His gentle voice and unpretentious manner was immediately comforting and you could not help but love him. The world has lost an amazing human being, but we are all richer for the memories that he has left us.”
However, shortly after this declaration was made, Tony’s manager came forward to clarify that the actor is still alive. The reporter stated that Anthony’s “distraught spouse” had a misunderstanding, which resulted in misinterpretation. Tony’s son, Christopher Dow, soon followed suit and revealed that his father was still alive. In a statement to FOX News, he noted: “This is a difficult time. Yes, he is still alive but in his last hours. Under hospice care.” As of now, nothing is confirmed.

Dow began his career after he earned the role of Wally Cleaver in Leave It to Beaver in a casting call. He continued acting while working in the construction industry and studying journalism and filmmaking, in 1970s. He made his debut as a director with an episode of The New Lassie, in 1989.
Tony Dow Cancer Controversy
In May 2022, doctors discovered that Tony had cancer. Since then, his team has been keeping fans up to date via Facebook. An update following the news stated that he was in and out of the hospital as a result of complications and therapies. The post went on to say that Lauren and Tony have maintained a good attitude throughout the process, which they are now walking together. Since then, there has been no new information. It was from Tony’s son.
