Jenny Taft Career
Taft’s television career began in 2011 with Fox Sports. She filled a “Fox Sports Girl” role for the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA during her early years, as she was a Fox Sports North sideline reporter for the Minnesota Lynx. During her time at FSN as an FSN Girl, Taft worked as a social media contributor for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Twins, and Wild sports teams, as well as an on-field/arena host at Twins and Wild games. In 2014, she began working as a college football reporter for FS1. In 2017, Taft was promoted to lead college football sideline reporter, along with play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson and analyst Joel Klatt. Her position at FS1 has evolved considerably since then, as she has also covered the NFL, MLB, and the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

In 2018, she filled in on FS1 programs as a fill-in host and moderator. It was reported that Taft would take over as the moderator of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, hosted by Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, that summer.
Around the same time, on September 5th, FS1 debuted CFB: Inside Slant, a weekly college football show hosted by Taft. Despite taking on these new responsibilities at FS1, she continued to cover college football as a sideline reporter for the 2018 season. She served as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports’ XFL coverage in 2020.
