After a TikTok hoax alleging that she was pregnant went viral, Zendaya has spoken out. A fake sonogram photo that was altered to make it appear as though the 25-year-old actress had posted it herself was featured in the video, which emerged earlier this week. But on Tuesday, the American reality star took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight, stating that people are “just making things up for no reason.” The original TikTok videos were part of a joke known as getting ‘Krissed.’ Is Zendaya Pregnant With Her First Kid In 2022?

Zendaya‘s profile image was altered to appear as if she had uploaded the photo, and the video opened with a fake sonogram picture of a fetus displaying Zendaya’s profile photograph photoshopped in. The fraudulent caption, which was meant to seem as if the actress had written it, read: ‘I adore you. You’re halfway there.’
The image was doctored to include a comment from Marisa Tomei with heart emojis, in order to make it appear more authentic. But the video’s conclusion featured a clip of Kris Jenner dancing in a green sequined top that was accompanied by a sped-up version of Lady Marmalade instead.’
The joke has been used before to fakely deceive people into thinking something was real, only to reveal that it was a hoax at the end. Lil Nas X was reliably hilarious as he reacted on Twitter to the stunt on Tuesday afternoon. ‘I despise Twitter because I’m sitting here about to congratulate Zendaya via DM about a non-existent kid,’ he quipped.

To make sense of the TikTok post, some Twitter users utilized a popular Watchmen meme. ‘Zendaya pregnant news,’ they tweeted, followed by a comic panel in which a woman asks, ‘source?’ as Dr. Atomic boasts, ‘I made it up.’
‘I fell to my knees in a Walmart,’ one individual joked after seeing the hoax post. Another poster playfully imagined who originated the Krissed prank, guessing it was Zendaya with her fake sonogram.’
One fan opined that Zendaya‘s at times aloof demeanor on social media might be due to false reports about the TikTok post. ‘Zendaya is NOT pregnant, and this is why she does not communicate with us,’ claimed another dark humorist. The Spider-Man films were a major source of inspiration for the joke.

It stated, ‘Zendaya pregnant,’ accompanied by a humorous panel of Spider-Man hanging himself with his own webbing after being supposedly hanged. The viral hoax seems to have caught on in part because fans are intrigued by Zendaya and her beau Tom Holland, who has played the title role in all three Spider-Man films.
Zendaya Relationship Explored
Zendaya and Tom have long been the subject of love rumors since their first on-screen appearance in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it was not until July 2021 that their romance was acknowledged when they were observed kissing in a vehicle.
However, in an interview with Total Film from November 2021, Tom said he was “very satisfied and in love.” However, he failed to mention Zendaya by name during the same interview. But later in the month, Tom got much more honest while discussing the loss of privacy that they have suffered since going public.
‘I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway,’ he continued. ‘We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.’
Fans of Zendaya may have been expecting a baby since Tom announced to People in December 2021 that he was anticipating fatherhood.
‘I love kids. I can’t wait to be a dad — I can wait and I will, but I can’t wait!’ he said. ‘If I’m at a wedding or a party, I’m always at the kids’ table hanging out.’
