Anna Cardwell’s Last Words: Honey Boo Boo Sister’s Cancer

Anna Cardwell was a reality TV star and best known as the sister of Honey Boo Boo who competed in the inaugural season of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors, in 2018. Anna has died aged 29 on August 28, 2005. She had been diagnosed with adrenal cancer, in Jan 2023.

The family rose to fame on the kid-focused pageant programme Toddlers & Tiaras, and later made an appearance on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Below a family portrait, Honey Boo Boo wrote. It hasn’t been easy to see my 29-year-old sister fight this terrible cancer for the past year.

After a number of tests and an issue of stomach pain, Cardwell’s doctors found cancer in her lung, liver, and kidney. In March, she had her first round of chemotherapy.

Was Anna Cardwell Married?

Yes, Anna Cardwell was married with Michael Cardwell. They tied knot on May 3, 2014 and moved with him to Alabama two weeks later. She had two sisters named, Lauryn and Jessica. Her step mother was Jennifer Lamb.

Anna Cardwell Last Words

On Dec 9, 2023, Friday’s Instagram post in which Shannon asked her fans to remember Cardwell’s family in their prayers, news of her passing broke on Saturday.

Shannon wrote in her post, adding the hashtag “#CancerSucks. Y’all we r asking for prayers for our family as we are going through this process we really appreciate y’all for all the thoughts and prayers and we will update y’all whenever we can just know that all of your thoughts and your prayers are very much appreciated during this time”.

At the time of Anna Cardwell’s death, she was surrounded by her husband, children, family and closed ones. She said, “I have carried the weight of this cancer for far too long”.
