Stephen “tWitch” Boss was an American dancer, choreographer, and actor who was born on September 29, 1982, in Montgomery, Alabama. He was best known for his appearances on the popular dance competition show “So You Think You Can Dance” and as a DJ and MC on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” He began dancing at a young age and started competing in dance battles in his teens. He attended Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama, where he studied dance. After college, he moved to California to pursue a career in dance.
Boss first gained national recognition with “So You Think You Can Dance” and was one of the show’s most popular contestants and finished as the runner-up. He later returned to the show as a recurring all-star, and he has also served as a guest judge on several occasions.

Stephen Boss, who is also known as “Boss,” a tragic event that took place on December 13, 2022. Following an investigation, his death was ruled a suicide, and he was 40 years old at the time. His wife, Allison Holker, informed the Los Angeles Police Department that he had left their home without taking his car, which was unusual behavior for him. Later, the police received a call about a shooting at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, Los Angeles, where Boss was found dead after failing to check out of the motel.
To honor and mourn his passing, a funeral and burial service were held for Boss on January 4, 2023, in Los Angeles. His remains were interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The death of Stephen Boss was a great loss for his family, friends, and fans, and his legacy as a dancer, actor, and television personality will be remembered for years to come.
