The sixth season of Riverdale is set to premiere on Netflix throughout the world in 2021 and 2022, which will come as no surprise to fans since it was announced back in October 2021 that the show would be renewed for another year. Since Riverdale season 6 will be available on Netflix weekly, here’s a full rundown of when it’ll air in both the United States and all over the world.
We don’t know how many episodes there will be in Riverdale season 6 yet, but we do know that the series begins on November 16th with a 5-hour event.
The fifth season of Riverdale ended on The CW in early October 2021 owing to schedule delays resulting from the worldwide epidemic. That means those in the United States still do not have access to season 5.
Netflix’s Sabrina Spellman will star in Riverdale season 6
Following the success of Riverdale, fans have been clamoring for an adaptation of Sabrina. It’s been a long time coming since both Riverdale and Sabrina originate from the same Archie comics universe. Katy Keane, on the other hand, does not appear on Netflix. Kiernan Shipka confirmed on October 8th that she’d be reprising her role as Sabrina Spellman.
The announcement came alongside the tease: “from Greendale to Riverdale.”
She starred in the Netflix Original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which aired for four seasons. Her character will appear in a crossover that took place in the fourth episode.
For fans of the Netflix show, you’ll know things didn’t work out too well for Sabrina so how exactly she comes to reprise her role in Riverdale is yet to be seen.
Riverdale Season 6 Releasing Weekly on Netflix Outside the United States
For international viewers, you’ll be able to watch Riverdale season 6 episodes on Netflix the day after they air in the United States. Every Tuesday, new episodes premiere on Netflix across the world at 8:00 a.m. GMT. Netflix Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Latin American, and the Middle East are among those who get new episodes every Tuesday.
It’s worth noting that after episode 5, the series will go on a few months’ break before resuming on March 6th. nNote: This table is based on the assumption that the new season will be 19 episodes long, as with prior seasons. To stay up to date on new information, please keep an eye out for updates.
Not all locations are included in this weekly plan, although we should note that it does not include every location. For those in Latin America, only seasons 1-4 are accessible, with no prospect of seeing season 5. Netflix Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico are among the countries affected. Other areas such as Spain are also out of luck.
