According to reports last night, Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall are to divorce after six years of marriage, leaving the Texan model single for the second time at 65. The couple, who have four children together, are said to have ‘grown apart’ in recent months. This would be Murdoch’s fourth divorce – he has been married three times before, most recently to Wendi Deng. He has 12 children in total.
Hall is perhaps best known for her work as a model in the 1970s and ’80s, gracing the covers of magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She Since she rose to prominence in the fashion business during the 1980s, no one has been short of admirers, yet her love life hasn’t always been so wonderful.
In 1990, Hall married Andrew Loog Oldham, the frontman of The Rolling Stones. Their supposed marriage was declared void by the UK high court after their split in 1990.
