Lindsey Boylan Vocals About Gov Andrew Cuomo
Between 2015 and 2018, Barbara Boylan served as deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser to the governor for Andrew Cuomo. She was in charge of three years. However, a local politician claims that Cuomo sexually harassed her “for many years.”
“Many saw it, and watched,” Boylan said. “I had no idea what to expect: would I be quizzed on my job (which was excellent) or ridiculed about my appearance? Or would it be done at the same time?” “There is no excuse for any of this,” Ms. Pelosi went on to say. “I’m a woman; I can work hard my whole life to better myself and help others, yet still be victim as countless women before me have been. Most often in silence. I hate that some men, like @NYGovCuomo abuse their power.”
Boylan described several instances in which she felt harassed in an essay published on Medium titled “My experience working with Governor Cuomo.” She says Cuomo suggested, “Let’s play strip poker,” as they were “flying home from an October 2017 event in Western New York on his taxpayer-funded jet.”
He also addresses his attitudes towards her and other female employees under his command in the book. During my time as a state employee, the Governor frequently harassed me. He made negative remarks about female coworkers’ weight. He ridiculed them about their love lives and significant others. The Governor said the key to getting women was “money and power.” she wrote. She went on to describe the final time she quit.“We were in his New York City office on Third Avenue,” she wrote.
“As I got up to leave and walk toward an open door, he stepped in front of me and kissed me on the lips. I was in shock, but I kept walking. Boylan claimed that after she quit, “I came to work nauseous every day.” He resigned on September 26, 2018. To date, no evidence has been offered in support of Boylan’s claim. Cuomo’s office released a statement rejecting the allegations. The following statement was issued: “There is simply no truth to these claims.”
