Draymond Green is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Green, who is mostly a power forward, has won the NBA championship four times, been an All-Star four times, been on the All-NBA Team twice and7-time member of the All-Defensive Team. In 2017 he also led the league in steals and won Defensive Player of the Year.
Green was born in Saginaw, Michigan and played college basketball for Michigan State. His accomplishments include helping the Spartans earn two Final Four appearances and a Big Ten tournament championship in 2012.
Over the course of his four years in college, Green was awarded various conference and national honors, including Big Ten Conference Sixth Man of the Year as a sophomore and consensus All-American and NABC National Player of the Year honors as a senior.
